How to start a genocide — Lesson 1 “Friends”

The case examples are taken from the ongoing and undocumented genocide of non-Muslim minorities in Pakistan. Being a minority in Pakistan and awaiting my death soon, I am searching for answers on how the Pakistan created an elaborate state-sponsored genocide of its minorities. Every year around a thousand women and men of Christians and Hindus are murdered in broad daylight. I had 10 Hindu and 23 Christian families as neighbors in 2010 and mine is the only family still alive in 2020.

I do not fear death — I am a Christian.

The first step for starting a genocide is to “find your friends”. Yes, I am aware that many of you would have voted for the first step to be one of the below ideas -
+ Sell an big dream like in North Korea, or
+ Create a magnanimous leader like in India, or
+ Initiate a revolt like in South Africa.

But the mission of a genocide or the systematic killing of people cannot be committed by one person — you need an army. And before you build your army, you need to find a group of like-minded friends. Don’t get me wrong, you do not select your actual friends in this group — but those who do involve their actual friends in this group are true psychopaths. There is no way that you must feel an emotion for this group. This group of friends is meant to be killed at the right time, at the right place and at the right cost for your ideals. And it works best if they do this willingly.

For this group of mercenaries (since you know their end role, let us not call them as “friends” anymore), you need to select from three types of people -

Type #1 The dumb class — easy to manipulate and less expensive to have around.

Motivation: They are bored of their lives and look for an inspiration/guidance in you (either in matters of religion, family lines, physical beauty, strength, oratory skills, etc.)

Hiring: Involve as many as possible.

Example: The origin of Pakistan can be traced back to the pure crowd of student supporters of the Aligarh University and the Dhaka university. There were very few leaders that had formal education from British schools but they were carried in the minds of the high-hormone teenagers. A revolt against the Britishers were already running rife and what better way to motivate these youths that to declare a religious aim. And thus the Pakistan Movement was formed, shortly after the Aligarh movement and shortly a party known as the All India Muslim League was formed. The irony is that most of India had never heard of them but they named it the All India Muslim League. No one challenged and it became a moral ground for all muslims to now promote the new religious party of which they have no idea of its leaders or its goals.

Weaknesses: Any alternate group that is formed from the very same ideas and around the same circumstances would divert them and you will loose your raw muscle power. To this day, muslim men kidnap minor girls in Pakistan in groups of four or more and are always armed. Some are also conveniently from the police force — no filing of reports then as in the case of Arzoo Raja.

Type #2 — The ‘for sale’ category — expensive to have around and but very handy with turning a crisis into a opportunity

Motivation: Power, ego, lust and money. These men and women have a skill and they will do anything for a price. They can be great orators, have secret informants/information, and can identifying great opportunities for success in a turmoil.

Hiring: Always less than 10 in your first group.

Example: Did you know that the students never heard of the Pakistan Movement and that they heard about them through Urdu poets, graffiti makers and academic professors? Yes, the songs were a hit and it was written in Urdu by poets like Iqbal Bano and Faiz Ahmed Fiaz. The graffitis adorned the college walls and toilets and the lecturers helped keep it that way. The songs — yes they helped move the independence movement of India and moved it to a revolt of Urdu speaking population against the Britishers.

Weaknesses: Not everyone is useful always and they are always greedy for more ‘motivators’. Also, having too many of them meant that there was too many internal politics that will come to play. During the covid-19 pandemic, these motivated religious leaders ensured that the relief camps were setup mostly in premises of mosques and therefore non-muslims cannot enter these places. Each person only gets a rationed amount of food, and if you decide to visit these “humanitarian camps”, you need to get everyone from your family there. And these mosques, your families are easy targets. We are also aware then when a vaccine will be developed, we will never receive them. We will die by the virus if not at these muslim premises.

Type #3 The pseudo intellectuals — the real idiots that attracts other intellectuals

Motivation: Nothing. They just want an audience. They want to show off their skills and can easy turn the spotlights to your group.

Hiring: Bare minimum as they easily get distracted and cannot be externally motivated to work on your goals. They can leave the group when you least expect it.

Examples: Did you know that the idea of a separate nation exclusively for muslims was thought by an East India Company judge Syed Ahmed Khan. The East India Company (for those who don’t know) is the crown financial machinery of British rule in India. It was his rise as a judge that even gave weight to the founders of Pakistan a utopian dream of a state called Pakistan. He made the heads turn from the Muslim religious leaders, stately muslim (titular) kings, to the poor muslim students towards the All India Muslim League.

Weakness: You don’t have to find one. The same pseudo-intellectuals can come up with conflicting ideas every single day. And it is now the role of the group to bury those ideas and only present the ones that suit them best. They are liability by themselves and are very risky assets. If you loose them to anyone else then you are doomed to die. This is like the current prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan — an ex-cricketer and people’s favorite — a good looking star figure. His hands are tied by the military and the ISI — he will not speak of us or of the ill treatments that we face every single day. But he will find new opportunities to distract your attention — Islamophobia, muslim crisis, American threats, etc. They will distract and you will be distracted.

I find one flaw in this concept of selecting and making a group of people to work on a goal of systemically erasing Christians, Hindus, Ahmedis and non-Muslims in Pakistan. The entire success is of this operation is based on a notion of non-revolt by the victims. Do you see it?
